For this to be the end of the series, it was a major let down for me. The first three books of this series were definitely the best, and it just seems like these final two were phoned in. I couldn't connect with Kisser at all, and Trish wasn't much better. I could at least appreciate her ambition and determination. With Eric though, it was just as closed off as Trish found it. The sex scenes didn't come off as steamy and loving for me, in fact they felt a little sleazy, which is not what I got used to from this author in the first three books. Every time I read this for any length of time, I wound up with a migraine. The ending was pretty well written, I must admit, but I think I may not revisit these for a while.
