Idk, this book just didn’t land for me. I normally put books that I just can’t connect with at 3 stars, but there were a few things that bothered me about this book. Certain characters (like Solomon, Omar, Ms. Hall, etc.) just didn’t feel developed enough. The main characters were good, but everyone else was just a flat cardboard cutout who served to drive along the plot.
