Opal by Maggie Stiefvater

3.0

Meeeeeh. Which is mainly because the short story is in Opal's POV, and let me just say that I do not like Opal and I do not like her inclusion into the story. I enjoyed each and every bit of Adam and Ronan's appearances, but they weren't as many as I would have wished. The short story was done well, but it's kind of fighting an uphill battle--if I don't like the POV character then it's kind of a wash, haha. At least she's not being treated like she's a small child. That would probably drive me up a wall even more. 3 stars.
