Brandon Sanderson keeps amazing me, The Rithmatist is so different from The Final Empire (The only other book I've read by him ) yet equally intriguing and complex. I appreciated the fact that even though the main character doesn't have any special abilities he is still very capable, smart and resourceful; he was also very likeable and relatable. The world was so well created, I think that is Brandon Sanderson's main strength and It's my favourite thing about his books.
