The Bluff by Willa Nash, Devney Perry

5.0

Willa Nash has done it again. The Calamity Montana series is like watching a Hallmark movie with all the Heat added. Everly moved to Calamity to be with her friend and then was almost killed by a stalker who followed her from Nashville. Since then she's been hiding out in her small apartment never going out until one night when she decided to go out to the local bar on a late snowy night. The only person in the bar was a handsome stranger and they immediately hooked up.
Reese Huxley is an ex-con who has been out of prison for over 15 years. He is also a local artist. While in prison, his wife divorced him, married a lawyer and had a baby. Since coming back to town he has been trying to see his daughter and get visitation privileges. To get partial custody of a 16 year old girl, it would be better if he had a wife around so Everly volunteers.
Of course, living together helps them see that this is more than sex, it turns out to be love. As usual, with all Willa Nash stories there are tears before the Happily Ever After finally comes.
