We All Have Those Days by Brookie Cowles

5.0

This was lovely. Normally, I just dip in and out of poetry books, enjoying a few poems here and there, and I've done that with this collection before. But this time I decided to read it cover to cover, and it was such a fun way to approach all the poems. They are collected by topic, which gave a lovely and broad exploration of the ideas. Fairytales was my favorite section, although the motherhood section was the most poignant to me. I loved A Song, and White Clouds, as personal favorite poems, although a lot made the short list.
