Emily has been through so much—shitty parents and an abusive ex-husband. I feel now she is a stronger woman with a backbone by the end of this book. Leo is a beautiful, caring, and irresistible man. When you find out what really happened three years ago, you'll be rooting for both of them to get together. The tension between the two is like a flame. The way Leo attends to and takes care of her made me swoon. Emily stood up for herself towards the end, and I was cheering her on. A.E. Nalle does not disappoint when it comes to spice. If you're looking for a quick, dark, and spicy read, don’t sleep on the Wicked series.
