The Tibetan Book of the Dead: The Great Liberation Through Hearing in the Bardo by Francesca Fremantle, Chögyam Trungpa, Padmasambhava

5.0

It's difficult to give a rating to something like this, so I'm basing this rating mainly on the quality of the commentary and the resources within the book--which were, spoiler alert, excellent. The opening commentary on the text, as well as the foreward and the introduction, were informative and clear. It was helpful to read those before the actual Bardo itself to have a good understanding of what I was going into. The glossary of terms and pronunciation guide at the end of the book was also a good addition. I'm glad that I read this, it contains a lot of concepts and thoughts that are applicable in life as well as death. The cover design is also -chef kiss- beautiful.
