Whilst the last volume of the 2017 Darth Vader series has some excellent character exploration of Vader himself, along with some interesting exploration into some of the history of the Sith and their relationship with the Dark Side, it is let down by tying it rather sloppily to some of the worse content in Star Wars - along with adding one of it's own.
