Outsider in the White House by Bernie Sanders

4.0

If I wasn't Feeling the Bern before, I certainly am now. Before reading Outsider in the White House, I was a fan of Bernie and much of his platform, but regarded some of his ideas as idyllic pipe dreams. I stand corrected. It is absolutely possible to implement them all (and that includes reducing the National Debt.) My favorite chapter of the book outlines how. I wasn't able to vote in a primary in my state (I'm a registered Independent living in New York which doesn't have open primaries) so I'm not feeling any regret, but if an election were held tomorrow—assuming I'm allowed to vote—I'd be voting for Bernie. #FeelTheBern

Tip for future readers: I read this as an e-book, but I would highly recommend getting your hands on a hard copy instead. Most of the book switches between two different storylines/time periods and I have a feeling that the actual book makes following along a lot easier.
