I could not put this book down! This is one of the best mysteries I've read in a long time.
The plot was well developed. I loved that we had so many red herrings. When I thought the story was going to go one way, it went another. I was literally on the edge of my seat.
The characters were well-developed, but not so much so that I was drowning in backstory. I liked that we had multiple POVs. Getting to see inside each character's head - even the bad guy's - added depth to the story and made it fun and fast paced.
Thanks Simon Books for the gifted new paperback copy of this one! I can't wait to read more Mary Higgins Clark.
