House of Dragons by K.A. Linde
4.0
House of Dragons is the first book in this fantastical world of faes, half-faes, humans, and dragons. And this is also my first ever read from the author. The story is about Kerrigan, a half human, half fae born into nobility but was left abandoned by her father in the Draco Mountain. She found her home in the House of Dragons and made it her mission to earn her place into Society. But not everything falls into plan.
The storyline, characters and world building is just spot on for me. The way the author weaves the story is pure magic that I find myself so immersed into it, it feels like you live in this magical world. You will definitely live and breathe it. The characters are very diverse and the story is told in multiple POV, but focal point is mostly Kerrigan's. This is a slow burn, young adult romance and believe me, I'm slowly dying inside for Kerrigan and Fordham to just kiss already, LOL. Loved it and highly recommend for fans of this genre.
