I love this series more with every volume.

the expressiveness of the art, the dark (and this volume is probably the darkest so far) dark darkness, and the adolescent humor that doesn't veer into fan service (thank you) make a perfect combination. I just wanted this to keep going and was really disappointed to reach the end of this volume.

the author's comments are hysterical - both about the characters, the art (oops, as a child she was depicted as a blond, now her hair is black, so uh, maybe she colored it? but explaining that her hair needs to be black now and why - and it makes sense - but her self-deprecating is so funny), and about herself (sometimes I hallucinate a little when I'm working) - I especially look forward to the monthly notes between chapters. "Koichi's shirt ruins everything" - okay, these little preview comments seem to make no sense but then they do, and they are great. and the window cleaning chapter? I smile just thinking about it.

bring on volume four, please . . .
