Mythos: The Greek Myths Retold by Stephen Fry

5.0

Fry's witty comments and dry humour make this worth reading. Mythology has always fascinated me, especially since modern entertainment tends to borrow from the old myths. I knew the vague stories of the well known myths but Fry's retelling make them more funny and interesting. I listened to the audiobook version of this and Fry's own voice makes it even better. He goes into a lot of detail (as much as he can without making this a tome) and by just adding a clever little remark here and there, he manages to involve the reader to make this a fascinating re-telling rather than a boring account of Greek mythology. Would recommend.
