The one thing I would say about this book so far is that I was looking for the ‘Rhysand’. It must be like an ACOTAR effect or something…
Auren is with King Midas and she adores him.. but SURELY there’s someone coming protect her and to sweep her off her feet, right?
This series is a lot darker and VERY adult compared to some other romantasy series, but I am really intrigued into what Aurens future holds and ultimately, who is going to be feuding with who, what other information will we learn about the fae, is Auren going to make friends with the other saddles, who is her final love interest.. there’s so many unanswered questions!
This is a 4 book series so I could tell in the way this first book was written/structured that there will be room for lots of world and character development.
Overall considering I have put off starting this series for over a year now, I’m pretty pleased with this first book 😅.
