Although I overall liked this book, I felt like there was no real plot. A big chunk of the book is spent on the characters’ backgrounds, which is fine, but it became overdone at one point. There’s also some side characters’ stories that didn’t seem relevant or maybe I just didn’t find myself to care about them. The writing was a bit cringey sometimes too and the something about Eva and Shane’s relationship felt reallyyy rushed (I know it’s kind of in the title but still). I think the characters are what made this book for me, especially Audre. I loved reading parts that she was in.
