Fallen Heir by Erin Watt
3.0
Ok... So: this book was not as good as the other 3, but I have to say the cliffhanger is still here! This means I can't wait to read the next book to find out what happened to Sebastian.
Hartley inspired me pity all the time. And Easton should quit drinking. It becomes a cliche. An ugly one.
Let's see what the next book brings next year.
Quotes I liked:
“I’m not short.”
“Really?” I arch a brow and peer down at her.
“Really,” she insists. “I’m just vertically challenged.”
“Thankfully no one is around, so I don’t have to answer any stupid questions. Mostly because I don’t have good answers.”
“I think I’m more of a loner.”
“Great. We’ll be alone together.”
“Funny how the quiet can be deafening. What’d she say before? In the quiet, you can hear the heart beat? You can also hear it break.”
