Justice for Corrie by Susan Stoker

3.0

I love strong heroines, and for the most part, that's who Corrie is. Even being blind, she's fierce, independent, and smart. But there were times where she was just rude and so quick to judge. It's one thing to stand up for yourself, but its another when you're just snarky because you think people are judging you or pitying you. If it hadn't been for the fact that she "witnessed" a murder in the beginning, I don't know if I would have continued with this story. I liked Quint from the previous books, but I had to question why he was even intrigued by her in the beginning. I know she had to be cautious and careful, I totally understand that. I guess once you get past her initial rudeness, there are qualities about her that make her a good heroine. I did read this book twice because I wanted to make sure that I wasn't being too hard on Corrie. I loved her independence and fierceness, but she did come off as rude at times.
