ヴァニタスの手記 4 [Vanitas no Carte 4] by Jun Mochizuki
4.0
I definitely enjoyed this volume more than vol 3. We get some insight into Vanitas's past, but I think it's pretty clear it's not the whole story of Vanitas's past. More of a extended glimpse or lengthy teaser. The majority of this volume is pretty dark/serious, but the last few chapters offer a lighter atmosphere . I already had a feeling a certain character couldn't be trusted and we get two big red flags about this character.
There is one thing I don't like about this volume and that is the cover. Don't get me wrong, both the art style and colors are beautiful. However, I'm not a fan of how Jeanne is being portrayed on it.
