I am not mad about this book. It was a sweet, cozy read.
The characters did feel like tropes of themselves but I knew this was just for the cozies going into it.
The baby dragon was very cute and I loved them.
I am so very confused on why her parents would leave her basically homeless on such short notice though. And I don't understand how the love connection started between her and the prince? Just randomly progressed? Like they started off hating each other and then nothing changed but they decided actually they like each other romantically? Also, why try to force the high stakes issue with the older prince brother? Why include at all, I think there was like ten pages on this but it was basically the ending to the story.
I wish there was more of a wrapping up on the gargoyle character that worked in the library! I found his story interesting and wanted to know more about the character.
