Trainspotting by Irvine Welsh

5.0

I kind of feel like I've done Irvine Welsh a disservice by reading the portuguese translation of this, but I also know how hard it is to get used to the scottish dialect and slang he uses, so I'm kind of relieved I didn't have to go through that as well. Honestly, I would pause my reading to go compare certain chapters to the original and it was almost a nightmare. But it's also what makes it so special, so I'm conflicted.

Anyhow, I loved it.
