SSS: Year Three by Avery Song

5.0

SSS The Supernatural Spy Academy Year Three is the third installment in Avery Song’s gripping series featuring Silver and her four shifter boyfriends. The author keeps elevating each book so that it stands above the rest and this book is no exception. You’re going to need a cold shower or your favorite toy, a box of tissues, and maybe a stress ball. This book is THAT good! Avery Song gives me everything I want with this book and more…though I could do less with bawling. Haha! But the author does not disappoint with this book and I’m eager for the next.
Year Three picks up right where the last book left off. One piece of the truth has been revealed in connection to the problems that Silver and the guys have been dealing with, but at least they are getting their butts in gear. They know what is at stake and I love that the author goes further and gives me what I’ve been wanting most – more steamy and more backstory. Silver finally is doing her research and is learning some of the history that surrounds not just the ring, but herself as well. Grab the tissues because the story that Lia reveals is one of true tragedy and if Silver is not careful, it will repeat itself yet again. Where the first couple of books held off on the steamy element until over halfway through, since things have changed the author gives us the steamy with full force. I loved every second of it! I was even a bit green with envy a couple of times. LOL!
The only thing that I didn’t like about this book was Wolfgang. I totally get what was going on and why, but good grief did I want to smack the living daylights out of him! So I literally cheered when someone finally steps up and handles him. I get being jealous, I understand wanting to be close to the one you love, but OMG he seriously took it overboard and so he’s a bit of the least favorite for me. Haha! Prepare for another heartbreaking moment in this book. I was crying my eyes out, so just prepare yourself. Also, prepare to be choking on laughter at a certain point in this book. This book is truly a roller coaster ride from start to finish.
There is nothing that I would change in this book…even with Wolfgang being the world’s biggest idgit. Don’t sweat Yuriel’s “disappearances” it’s nothing major, I promise. This book is the best in the series so far. It grabbed me from the beginning and kept me page-turning to the end. I loved every second of it and can’t wait for the next. The author met my expectations with this book and then exceeded them. She has truly found her stride with this series and I’m excited to see what happens next. Prepare for an insane cliffhanger, but my mind is already screaming “It’s a Trap!” If you’ve read the series this far and enjoyed it then grab this book! You won’t be disappointed!
