The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

5.0

What an unique spin on history! Death himself is the narrator of this tale and I don’t know how it’s possible but there is even good hearted humor in this book. I definitely have a soft spot in my heart for books that are set during WW2, and this book did not disappoint. I was laughing one moment and gut wrenched the second. Amazing read.
