So much fun! The story itself was fun, but having read the Legends of the First Empire series prior to this I also had a LOT of fun with all the Easter eggs, and all of the information about the mythology and legend of this world that the people of this timeline have SO VERY WRONG - haha!
Right from the first chapter I loved Hadrian and Royce. Sullivan is so great at creating characters that are easy to get invested in.
Very excited to continue with this series and then on to Chronicles, so I can finally get to Nolyn!
