The Widow’s Cabin is the first book I’ve read by L.G. Davis but based on this one it sure won’t be my last. I could feel the hair on the back of my neck, the fear in my heart as Meghan ran from Cole, and that was just a few pages in.
The book had me hooked fast, dying to know where the story would go next. It was incredibly well written. It completely immerses you until you cannot focus on anything but reading as fast as you can in the desire to find out what will happen next.
Not only was it addicting it but it had a twist I didn’t see coming! Then the twists just kept coming! This was a book that consumed me, I was hooked until the very last page!
