The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons / Oracle of Ages -Legendary Edition- by Akira Himekawa

4.0

Like with the Ocarina of Time manga, reading this just made me want to play the games again. It takes the concepts and the characters of the original and puts them into the story in a way that really highlights what their part in the game was, but it also adds characters and story elements that make the overall story even more enjoyable. Raven for example was a fun addition and I love the ending that was possible thanks to his inclusion.

The art once again is fantastic and constantly filled with references. Though, sadly the same as the previous adaptation, the story had to be pushed along far more quickly that it deserved to be. If the manga had a few more chapters to flesh out a few more things, the story could be a lot more smoother.

Still, a great adaptation. I loved reading! Can't wait to start reading the next one!
