Vengeance Born takes you on a wild ride through Purgia, giving you not one but two tales in one book. In Part 1, we dive into the story of Thelios, the tattooed grump of a Grim Lord, who falls head over heels for the hooded Specter, aka Lorna Sydney
Spice level had me struggling to even imagine them. By the end of Part 1, I couldn't help but drop a "Son of a Stanley Cup" curse due to Thelios's questionable decisions that haunted him later in the story.


Part 2 introduces Roark, the Reaper Lord, who's whipped from the start, pining for the Prince's ward, Pella. Pella's golden wings and smart brains give off major Tinker bell vibes. Roark's protective love for her is heartwarming, and the two couples each get their own HEA. The combined ending of both parts ties everything together seamlessly.

This book has it all – action, gore, and spice that'll make you blush. Kudos to L.C. Son for delivering a Dark Romantasy masterpiece. Shoutout to the cover art of the Special Edition, and mark your calendars because this gem releases on Valentine's Day!
