I really wanted to love this book as much as I did A Kind of Spark, but sci-fi just really isn't for me. I loved that characters and the amazing autistic representation in this book, but the plot just wasn't my cup of tea. I'm still incredibly grateful that Elle McNicoll is writing these books for children and will definitely read more of her books
