Mistborn: The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson

5.0

"Sometimes we just have to wait long enough, to find out why exactly it was that we kept believing..."

where have I been all this time???

I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!
this book is giving me the 'Six of Crows' vibes. though I think, SoC was the one adapting the vibes that Mistborn has, because Mistborn was published on 2006!
anyway, the worldbuilding that Brandon Sanderson wrote in this novel was so complex and maybe for some people, it makes the plot feels a bit slow and boring. but me, personally, I like it. because it gave some times to absorb the details and imagine the situation.

and the magic system! oh my god! I haven't find an author who dedicated theirself to wrote such things with such details. I was amazed with how elaborate brandon described the magic system in this book.

also, the tropes. brandon served the trope that I love the most : found family. the relationship between the characters were so heartwarming.

well, maybe for some people who read fantasy, the main idea of this book is very common. I felt the same way too. but, Brandon was succeed in broaden the main idea of this book to be something worth following.
