Midnight's Children by Salman Rushdie

5.0

Five stars! Five big fat stars for Midnight's Children, which sat unread on my shelf for upwards of a decade, intimidating me with its length, its density, the seeming impenetrability of its prose. It needn't have intimidated me that much because making my way though this big, busy book is the most fun I've had reading a novel in a long time.
