Jog On: How Running Saved My Life by Bella Mackie

3.0

I really did engage with Bella’s story, having to deal with my own mental health on a daily basis and also using running as a coping mechanism. However, sadly her story got diluted so much by referencing and research I found myself getting a bit impatient and lost. I wholeheartedly loved the parts where Bella was sharing her experiences, techniques and life and if this book had just been that with a few other people’s stories, without all of the research facts and referencing (which has to come with those facts), it would have been a hands down 5 stars.
