This was an absolutely amazing Beauty and the Beast retelling, taking the original story and twisting it completely. Still, there is a lovable Dragon and a smart heroine. It was definitely focused on the war against the Wood and Agniezka developing her magic, rather than the romance, which was slightly disappointing...I don't have the patience for slow burn romance, but it was sweet. Definitely one of my favorites. I wish there was a sequel.
