Story of family relationships, power dynamics and commitment.

The well structured short chapters helped weave the characters histories into the present.
A surprising enjoyable and quick read, especially as I don't usually go for thriller type books.

I was expecting the book to get darker at times and I felt a bit disappointed with the ending. Perhaps there might be a follow up novel in the future.
