See You in the Cosmos by Jack Cheng

4.0

Once I saw it in NBS, I just had to get my copy because look at that cover. I judged the book by it's cover and luckily, I liked the story as well. I will do my best to review without spoilers.

I love simple narration and language. I appreciate simplicity and how the author can weave the words into something so adventurous, elegant, and heart-warming. This is why I fell in love with Alex. Alex, the narrator, sees the world as it is. He is smart, mature for his age, and pure. His narration is the recordings he has in his Golden Ipad and you will get the pieces of his complicated life along the way. He brought me with him to his adventures to different places and chapters of his own life, which are all page-turners. I gave this a 4 because I almost cried which means this is a pretty good story on that alone. Alex will change how you look at life. This made me reflect on how I perceive my own struggles lately and this book presented itself to me at the perfect time.
