“You cannot pick and choose what parts of her to love.” He pitied Chaol he realized. His heart hurt for his friend, for all that Chaol had surely been realizing these past few months. “Just as you cannot pick which parts of me you accept."

Love how Dorian accepts her, and Celaena accepts him. And true friendship is that Dorian defends her (and himself) even when she isn’t there.
Was almost 5 stars, but taking off because while I love Manon as a character, I didn’t start finding her pov's that interesting until the second part of the book, and when she started training and getting to know Abraxos.

Tropes:
  • Enemies to Friends
  • Multiple pov’s
  • Redemption through self-acceptance
