The Christmas Keeper by Jenn McKinlay

4.0

Fun romance, great chemistry. I enjoyed the bookstore/author pieces in this one. The kerfuffle over the little sister created the tension, which I liked, although the over-protectiveness got old at times. The author's use of some slang was jarring (I didn't expect a publishing professional, thinking to herself, to use the term "obvy," for example.) and would pull me out of the flow of the story, which was a shame because otherwise I loved this. Fans of McKinlay's other romances should be sure to check this one out. (Language, sex)
