A office romcom at Hell's Gate and everything that crawls out of it.
This was exactly what I needed, it's lighthearted, funny, witty, fast and delightful. The characters are well rounded for such a short book. The main female character is absolutely amazing in battling the unique setting of her town. She is prepared, but so are most of the people there. Vampire? No problem they have UV lights, or garlic spray. Fog that eats your eyes? Everybody carries a gasmask. Warlock? A circle of salt helps.
There are gruesome themes and deaths but in a non traumatic way. But if you are sensitive to these themes read with care.
