Filthy Disciple by Cassandra Robbins, Serena Akeroyd

4.0

I've never read any of Cassandra Robbins' The Disciples series but I've read a lot of Serena Akeroyd's Five Point Mob series and I think Filthy Disciple is my favorite one yet. I felt that this book was a great blend of both authors. Despite not having read Cassandra's book previously I didn't think that the writing was disjointed, both Cassandra and Serena wrote a seamless book. And I wasn't ever really confused having not read The Disciples series. Though I was curious about Isabelle/Belle/Cindy's past relationship with Ryder that was mentioned in the book. I'm also curious about how she was portrayed in the other books, because in this book it doesn't seem like she is overly well liked by her friends but maybe she just burned one bridge too many. After reading Filthy Disciple I definitely want to check out the rest of The Disciples series.
As a warning this book covers topics that may be triggers including abuse, addiction, overdose, and more.
