The Origin's Daughter by Alexandra St Pierre
5.0
What an amazing debut fantasy novel by Alexandra St Pierre.
I loved everything about this book.
We have Raven our, angry but feisty FMC. She has always felt like an outcast and is always fighting. She doesn't know why everyone, other than her parents, want nothing to do with her.
As a result she is sent to anger management where she meets Conrad, and then his sister Meredith, who becomes the first people to actively seek her out and become a friend.
Raven soon finds out there is more to her than she ever knew and she suddenly finds herself in a world full of supernatural beings (daemons, shifters, witches, mages).
She finds out about the Dominion of Sin which rules seven courts:
The Court of Pride
The Court of Lust
The Court of Greed
The Court of Envy
The Court of Sloth
The Court of Gluttony
The Court of Wrath
She meets Prince Amon, our silver haired, green eyed, villain of the story (or is he) who rules the Court of Pride. I know I'm going to love him.
I am hooked on this series, as I have finished this and already dived straight into book 2, especially after that ending.
