I’m sure someone out there will love this book, it just isn’t me.
Personally, the protagonist took away from the other characters and I thought the whole book was a little… shallow? It just felt as though there wasn’t a great deal of thought put into the depth of the characters (including the protagonist).
I sat and read through this book in a matter of a few days and expected some huge twist. And while, yes, there were some twists with one being pretty major, I couldn’t help but wonder why?
The twists happened at the very end of the book, with no explanation as to why that person did what they did. It left me with more questions than I started with and it felt rushed towards the end.
