This book started really well. I enjoyed the build up and the premise, but as the book went on I felt the author really dragged it out. The dialogue got cheesier and cheesier - it was overly gushy romance, and I enjoy an insta-love romance But the conversations were just not realistic. Also I felt the spice was a bit ‘meh’ - it was trying to be daring but I felt it was out of character and cringey for Theo and Bridget.
Finally, Bridget… she was such a Mary Sue character that it was unrealistic and a bit boring to read about her.
