I wanted to like this way more than I did. I am very much a fan of dystopian novels, but this one just wasn't it for me. I dragged on forever, and the repetition added nothing for me. BIG BROTHER, BIG BROTHER, BIG BROTHER. WE. GET. IT.
I know this is a classic, and so we aren't supposed to not like it, but I simply did not enjoy this. I forced myself to power through it. I too, was being tortured by big brother.
By the time any real action begins, the book is at it's end. Wasn't for me, wouldn't recommend, will never read it again.
