Vandal by Carian Cole
4.0
I think this book broke my heart the most. Vandal has always sort of been the dark one of the group but after the death of his daughter he gets even darker. Having been the driver of the car, he feels a lot of guilt. He finds himself at the cemetery and see a woman crying over the grave of her husband, and he wishes he could be that loved, that someone would miss him that much.
When he finds out that is was the woman from the other vehicle he decides he wants to help her, move forward, find her happy bubbly self again. Taking her to his cabin in the woods, he plans to seduce her and make her forget her pain. Finding that she likes his brand of play they enter into a D/s relationship.
The end gives you a little bit into Tabi's motivation, and how she moves forward. The way in which they found each other is different but how they came together in the end was a start to both their healing.
