Fast Girls: A Novel of the 1936 Women's Olympic Team by Elise Hooper
fast-paced
4.25
Overall, this was a pretty solid read. One of my main points of contention was that the 1936 Olympics is around the last 100 pages of the book. If the subtitle had been "road to the 1936 Olympics" or something to that effect it would have been more accurate. That said, I'm still glad I read this. I enjoyed the characters and seeing the intersectionality and how it highlights each woman's experience getting to and being in the Olympics.
