I finally had to tap out and admit to myself that I just wasn’t ready to read this. It’s incredible and wonderfully written, but I personally couldn’t handle the triggers. It is not a DNF forever, but it’s on pause until I’m mentally ready to pick it back up. I got over 67% the way in before I set it down and from what I’ve read so far, it was absolutely incredible.
Mia Stratford is still hands down my Queen. She has survived every single thing that has been thrown her way and I would gladly bow at her feet.
As for Theo, Carter, Finn, and Mateo. As dense and dumb as they may be at times, they are still some of my favorite alphaholes ever.
I received Corrupted Kingdom as an ARC and while I could not finish it for now, I did want to leave a review and let people know how much I love this series and this author. Thank you AL Maruga for having me on your team and for your support when I had to walk away. Xx
