This felt very similar to AH’s Straight Guys series (boss/employee, straight to gay) but with a magical twist (spells, soulmates). I wish it were longer, but I greatly enjoyed it even as a short story. I’m hoping this paranormal world is the setting for her new series because although we just get a glimpse of it here, I think it has potential.
