I loved the connections among the characters! With a backdrop of growing up in foster care, their strength, resiliency, maturity, and blossoming romance had me invested from the beginning. Told in alternating chapters of Then and Now, with an unexpected twist, I didn't want to put it down until I reached the perfect ending.
