I picked this book up to read on Valentine's month, 2016 Goodreads award winner for Romance, I decided to give it a try & I was hooked to the very last point when I finished it it was around 3am in the morning. I was perplexed and emotionally was not ready to write the review of this book. I will not completely put this book under the romance genre.

It ends with us, is a story of Lilly, who graduated and moved to Boston to start her own business. She was from a town named Maine and had come a long way to Boston to start something up for herself. Meanwhile, she fell for handsome neurosurgeon Ryle. Ryle entered her life and he seems way too good to be true. Sooner or later their relationship turns toxic and abusive.

Side by side there is a story running paralleling where she read her journal which she used to write to Ellen, The journal gives an insight into Lilly's childhood which was traumatizing, where we as a reader also learns about the guy, Atlas. Atlas was a homeless guy living in an abandoned house. Lilly gave him food and water to survive. they both fell in love, but he has to go away to the Military.

Lilly and Atlas soon met in the restaurant. Lilly still has a soft corner for Atlas but what will happen when Rile will come to know about him?

My review- It ends with us is an appropriate title for this book. as soon as the title made sense it left me amazed. I was so happy at the end & Lilly is my so my favorite fictional character as of now. It is easy for us as a third person to ask the victim to leave but when you read this book from the point of view of Lilly you will realize it is so hard to leave the person because you love them. You cover up for them because you love them. This book kept me hooked to the last point, recommendable to everyone out there. Do read this book and share your views on this book, love to hear it.
