•Childhood friends to lovers
•Second chance
•Forced proximity
I was so excited for this, but ultimately didn’t love it, and that makes me incredibly sad. I feel like there was so much missing from Brighton & Charlotte’s story- mainly character growth, and I found Brighton really unlikable.
I loved their back story, and it made me love them initially, but I didn’t buy into their reconciliation. The most enjoyable part of this story for me was honestly their friends.
It’s still a cute little sapphic holiday romance, it just missed the mark for me.
