I’m.... astonished. Not only is this the best series i’ve ever read, but one i’ve taken countless lessons from. I key point in my learning has been the first few paragraphs of the last chapter. These paragraphs talk about death as inevitable and infinite. Did i cry? Yes. Because Neal Shusterman put a lot of meaning into those words- it’s what he’s good at.
Moving on, another thing i’ve gathered from reading this series was GREAT VOCABULARY. I’d love to see inside Neal Shusterman’s mind while he writes. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was quite literally a thesaurus.
I fell in love with the characters of this trilogy (Scythe Volta and Jerico being my favorite, not that you care). I know this because even though the ending was “happy” in most ways, i sobbed like i did when Sirius Black died.
A work of art. I cant wait to read more of Shusterman’s work.
